Software Verification and Validation Course Guest Lecturer
Tomorrow (29.03.2024), Garrison Atkisson and Zyberk Zeray from broadAngle will be attending SE318 - SE322 Software Verification and Validation course as guest lecturers. Lectures will be in M202 between 09:00-10:00 and in D021 between 12:10-13:50. The topic of the speech will be about "Managing Development Teams".

Software Project Management: Process, Tools, and Metrics
Summary:
Today’s product teams may include resources working from home, offshore teams working on another continent, as well as team members in traditional office settings. Now, more than ever, how we manage and monitor our teams directly impacts our project’s success.
This presentation will provide an overview of how broadAngle manages its development teams and how our goals and values as a service provider have shaped our process as it has evolved. We will also discuss the metrics we provide our clients for use in evaluating our services, as well as the metrics we use internally for tracking project and employee performance.
About the Presenter:
Garrison Atkisson is cofounder and CEO of broadAngle, a US based provider of software development services with offices in Izmir. In his 29-year career in IT, Garrison has worked in multiple roles: Network Engineer, Software Developer, Architect, Technology Manager, and CTO before founding broadAngle in 2007. He has successfully delivered projects across vertical markets including finance, healthcare, manufacturing, and media.
Garrison has a BS in Computer Science, with honors, from Kennesaw State University and an MBA from Georgia Tech. He holds multiple certifications from Microsoft and other companies.
Garrison splits his time between his hometown of Atlanta, GA and broadAngle’s software development center in Izmir, Turkey. When he isn’t in the office, he enjoys travelling with his wife and daughter.
